the prices then in effect for your purchases and any applicable shipping

Alien in a Jar will make reasonable efforts to fulfill your orders promptly. It is highly recommended
to pay extra for shipping with a tracking number to ensure better
control and visibility over your shipment. Please note that once
untracked shipping is chosen, Alien in a Jar loses control over the shipment, and we cannot guarantee its location or delivery status.

Alien in a Jar strives to deliver your orders in pristine condition. However, we are not liable for any damage during shipping.

Upon receiving your package, inspect it for damage and report
any issues to the carrier immediately. Should damage occur, Alien in a
Jar will assist with providing necessary information for the claims
process.

the matter with the shipping carrier and work towards finding a
solution. Please note that certain shipping issues are beyond our
control, but we will do our best to assist you.

the shipping carrier, we will carefully assess each case individually.
We will work closely with you to understand the circumstances and offer a
solution tailored to your specific situation. Options may include a
refund, a replacement, or store credit, determined on a case-by-case
basis, taking into consideration the unique details of the lost item

1. Who runs AlienInAJar?

AlienInAJar is a one-person operation! Everything you see, from design to creation, packaging, and customer service, is handled by me.

2. Can I request a custom design?

Absolutely! I love creating custom embroidery or patches tailored to your ideas. Since I run everything myself, custom orders may take a little extra time to perfect. However, please be mindful of your budget—custom designs take significant time and effort. You’re always welcome to ask, but as a reminder, my custom order range starts at $100 for a small, two-colored embroidery. Pricing will vary based on the complexity of your design.

3. How long will it take to receive my order?

Since I personally create and package every order, my processing time is usually 5-7 business days but could extend to 10-15 depending on the workload. Shipping time will depend on your location. For domestic orders, it usually takes about 5-7 days after shipping, and international orders may take 10-20 days.

4. What if I need my order quickly?

If you need a rush on your order, please contact me directly before purchasing or leave a note in the order, and I'll do my best to accommodate! Depending on my current workload, I may be able to prioritize your order.

5. How are your items packaged?

I take great care in packaging each order myself, ensuring it arrives safely. I also try to use eco-friendly materials whenever possible, keeping packaging minimal but cute!

6. How can I care for my embroidery/clothing?

Since some of my items are handmade, I recommend gentle hand washing with cold water and air drying for embroidered products. This will help preserve the details of the embroidery and the quality of the fabrics.

7. Do you run any promotions or discounts?

I occasionally offer special promotions or discounts, especially for repeat customers! Be sure to follow me on social media or sign up for my newsletter to stay updated on any deals.

8. How long until I get my pre-order?

Pre-order times are always estimated because I need to order materials in advance, and I may run into shipping or production delays. Typically, pre-orders take about 2-4 weeks before shipping, but this can vary. I’ll keep you updated if there are any changes, and I appreciate your understanding and patience.

9. Can I order something as a birthday or special gift? 🎉

Of course! My items make great gifts for special occasions. If you're ordering for a birthday or other celebration, let me know in advance, and I’ll do my best to meet your deadline. Please note that standard processing times still apply. If you're in a rush, feel free to reach out, and I can check if I can prioritize your order. I can also include a custom note if you’d like!
